📦 Race Weekend Packet Pick Up

• Thursday and Friday: September 18th and 19th - Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St, Alameda, Ca. 94501
• Saturday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Race Start/Finish Expo 2501 Monarch St, Alameda Point - Faction Brewery
• Sunday: 6:00am - 8:00am at Race Start/Finish Expo 2501 Monarch St. Alameda Point - Faction Brewery

🗓️ Race Events and Schedule

Sunday:

• Half Marathon: 7:30am
• 10K: 8:00am
• 5k Presented by Penumbra: 8:15am

⏱️ Race Timing and Restrictions

The Island Running Festival is a chip-timed event. Participants can run, jog or walk the entire course.

• Jogging Strollers: Permitted but asked to start in the back of the pack.
• Wheelchair Athletes: Allowed but cannot travel faster than the fastest runner due to safety concerns.
• Prohibited: Bikes, scooters, skateboards, or other wheeled vehicles. No dogs allowed on the course or at the finish line.

🚑 Medical and Water Stops

We will have a dedicated paramedics team on site to help assess your race day medical needs and administer acute first aid when necessary. A medical station will be located near the finish line, and team members will be roaming the course.

• 10K: Mile 2.5/4.5
• 5K: Mile 2.5
