Event Overview

• Location: Start and end at Faction Brewery.
• Health and Wellness Expo: Presented by Alameda Health Systems inside the old hanger.
• Beneficiary: A portion of registrations will be donated to Alameda Education Foundation.

Race Weekend Packet Pick Up

• Dates: Thursday and Friday, September 17th and 18th.
• Location: Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501.
• Time: 10:00am - 6:00pm. We encourage you to get your BIB and shirt early!
• Saturday Pick Up: 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Race Start/Finish Expo - 2501 Monarch St, Faction Brewery.
• Sunday Pick Up: 6:30am - 8:15am at Race Start/Finish Expo - 2501 Monarch St, Faction Brewery.

Race Events and Schedule

• Saturday: Hella Bae Running 5k and 1 Mile Shake-out run presented by Skechers at 1:00pm.
• Sunday Half Marathon: Starts at 7:30am.
• Sunday 10K: Starts at 8:00am.
• Sunday 5k Presented by Penumbra: Starts at 8:15am.
• Family Fun Run: Starts at 10:00am.

Race Timing and Restrictions

• Timing: The Island Running Festival is a chip-timed event.
• Participation: Participants can run, jog, or walk the entire course.
• Strollers: Jogging strollers are permitted but should start in the back of the pack.
• Wheelchair Participants: Allowed, but cannot travel faster than the fastest runner.
• Restrictions: No bikes, scooters, or dogs allowed on the race courses.

• Medical Support: A dedicated paramedics team will be on site for race day medical needs.

• Half Marathon Water Stops: Mile 2, 5.5 & 11.

• 5K Water Stops: Mile 2 & 2.5.
