Midway Shelter Winter Run / Walk ~ 5k, 10k and Kids Run

🏃‍♂️General Info

December 5th, 2026

Join us for the annual Midway Shelter winter run. Event takes place at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal in Alameda on Bay Farm Island and supports a great cause.

The run will take you along the beautiful shoreline of Bay Farm Island and is a flat out and back with views of San Francisco and the Alameda Main Island. The first half is on the Harbor Bay Road with closed lanes for runners and the return is on the trails.

👶Kids Run

• Eligibility: Kids run for 12 and under will be a 1/2 mile course.
• Start Time: Kids run will start at 9:45am.
• Course: Follows a circular loop out and back on the shoreline trail.
• Facilities: Plenty of parking at the Ferry terminal and snacks and drinks will be available when the race is over.

📅Packet Pick up and Race Schedule

• Dates: December 4th and 5th, 2026: 10:00am - 5:00pm at Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501.
• Race Day:
  • 7:30am ~ raceday registration opens
  • 8:30am ~ 10k starts
  • 8:45am ~ 5k starts
  • 9:45am ~ kids 1/2 mile run starts
  • 10:00am ~ 5k and 10k awards
