About the Race
Please join us on Saturday, October 24 for an annual tradition - The Great Pumpkin Run 5K and Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot! Open to all ages and abilities, runners and walkers will enjoy a run through the neighborhoods of Grandview Heights on a closed road course.
Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot
- Cost: The Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot is FREE for children 6 & under.
- Start Time: The Tiny Trot will begin at 8:30 am on Saturday morning.
- Gifts: The first 100 youth registered will receive an event shirt and a goody bag.
- Registration: Please register in advance if you wish to secure your youth's spot.
Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up will take place on Friday, October 23 at the Parks and Recreation Department office located at 1661 Goodale and on Saturday, October 24 inside the commons in the Grandview Heights Middle School beginning at 7:30 am.
Parking Information
- Available Parking: Parking is available in the Lot off of Fairview Avenue.
- Access: Walk directly from the lot to the middle school commons area, then directly out to the starting line.
- Oakland Avenue: Oakland Avenue parking lot will be closed this year.
- Location: 1272 Fairview Ave, Columbus Oh 43212.
Day of Schedule of Events
- 7:30 a.m. - Event Day Check-in and Registration
- 8:30 a.m. - Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot
- 8:40 a.m. - Pre-Event Warm Up- Hosted by Orange Theory Fitness- Grandview
- 9:00 a.m. - Great Pumpkin Run 5K
- 10:15 a.m. - Post Race Stretch- Sponsored by Columbus Spine and Sport Center
- 10:30 a.m. - Course re-opens, 5K ends
Shirts and Awards
All participants (up to 450) will receive a great-looking official Great Pumpkin Run event shirt. Register early to be sure you receive the t-shirt size that you want.
