Event Overview

• Purpose: Join us for our 5th Annual Suicide Awareness Walk as we come together as a community to raise awareness about mental health, support suicide prevention efforts, honor lives touched by suicide, and let every person know that hope is always within reach.
• Community Impact: Together, we can break the stigma, start conversations, and make a difference—one step at a time.
• Entertainment: Be sure to stick around after the One Mile and 5K! Matt Kirk is joining us once again providing some great music.
• Vendors: We have a wide range of fantastic vendors ready to welcome you and share all the ways they support our community.

Event Schedule

• Race Time: 6:30PM
• Location: Wise County Courthouse on the Decatur Square
• Luminary Lighting: We will close the night with our luminary lighting.
• Bring: Your friends, family, and lawn chairs for a meaningful night of connection and hope.

Registration Fees and Timelines

• Early Registration: July 6–August 23
• One-Mile Walk: Free to participate, register to receive your luminary, goodie bag, and sign the waiver. T-shirts available for purchase for $25 plus applicable fees.
• 5K Registration: $35. Includes a T-shirt and official personal race time.
• Late Registration: August 24–September 15, 5K Registration: $40, T-shirt availability not guaranteed.
