🙌 About the Event

• Fundraising: The Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale (KMRS) supports Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in providing world relief and development in the name of Christ.
• Experience: The KMRS is an annual event, occurring this year on April 10 and 11 at the Kansas State Fairgrounds.
• Features: Includes automatic race timing, age group awards, and post-race food.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by March 27th to be guaranteed a T-Shirt!

💰 Fundraising Challenge

• Fundraiser Registration: Register as a 'Fundraiser' to raise your entry fee (minimum $30 goal) for MCC.
• Bonus Reward: Raise $500 in the "Go The Extra Mile" challenge to earn an additional long sleeve T-Shirt!
• Online Fundraising: During registration, click 'Become a Fundraiser' to start sharing your online fundraising page.
• Late Fees: If you cannot raise your entry fee, you will incur a late entry fee at packet pick-up.

🌍 Remote Participation

• Remote Option: Unable to attend in person? Sign up for the 'Remote' option and run or walk the 5k from your location.
• Sharing Experience: Share your experience on our KMRS Run for Relief Facebook page.
• Facebook Updates: Please watch our Facebook page and your email inbox for race updates.
• Goodie Bag: Note that remote participants will not receive a T-Shirt or goodie bag.

📅 Instructions for Remote Participation

• Register: Register for the 2025 Run/Walk for Relief 5k (Remote).
• Dress Up: Wear your favorite Run for Relief or MCC Sale t-shirt (if available) and run or walk a 5K on your own or with family/friends.
• Tag Us: Take your picture and tag the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale Run for Relief Facebook page.
• Donations: Send your sponsor donations as instructed by race emails. T-Shirts are not mailed but can be picked up by others.

🤝 Community Support

• Fundraising: Ask family, friends, or neighbors to sign up and help raise additional funds for MCC.
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit the work of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) for material needs and community development.
• Mission: Support the community in the name of Christ through this event.
• Important Dates: Late registration is available in person at packet pick-up on Friday and Saturday.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Packet pick-up and late registration will be in the Meadowlark building on the Kansas State Fair Grounds, Hutchinson, KS.
• Times: From 5-8 PM on Friday, April 10, and starting at 7 AM on race day at the Rice Park shelter house.
• Online Registration: Note that online registration includes a processing fee or register as a 'Fundraiser' to pay at packet pick-up.
