Crim Youth Summer Running Clubs and the Marti Austin Kids' Classic

Join us for a summer full of youth running fun!

Families have 3 different options:

・Register for a Summer Running Club AND the Marti Austin Kids' Classic. (This includes weekly meetings with their coach and a race at the Marti Austin Kids' classic.)
・Register for a Summer Running Club only. (This includes weekly sessions with their Summer Running Club Coach only. A race is not included.)
・Register for the Marti Austin Kids' Classic only. (This is only the race. Participation in a summer running club is not necessary to sign up for the race.)

The Marti Austin Kids' Classic will be held on August 15th, 2026!

The Crim Youth Summer Running Clubs provide a summer of fun to keep kids active and moving. Clubs meet in more than a dozen locations throughout the community so you are able to choose one close to home. Most clubs meet once a week to keep kids active, teach the basics of running, and to help train for the Marti Austin Kids' Classic, held August 16th.

Marti Austin Kids' Classic Information

Date: Saturday August 15th, 2026
Location: Flint Cultural Center
Time: 9:00am (distances will be ran back to back starting with the Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot,1/4 mile,1/2 mile and then the 1 mile.
Packet Pick Up: Starts at 7:30am
Notes: Only the 1 mile distance is timed.

Back this year at the Marti Austin Kids Classic!

After the Marti Austin Kids' Classic join us for the MSU College of Human Medicine's Teddy Bear Health Fair! At this free event, kids and adults can enjoy fun physical activities, healthy snacks, and meet first responders, health pros, and MSU medical students and physicians. Bring a favorite stuffed animal for a checkup and explore local wellness resources!
