5th Annual Clarkston Family Farm 5k Chicken Run and 1mile Chicken Little Run

Race Details

• Date: 2026-10-18
• Location: 6800 Hubbard Road, Clarkston, MI
• Races: 5th annual 5k Chicken run/walk and a 1 mile Chicken Little Run.
• Start Time: Check in starts at 8am: race starts at 9am.

Participation

Come out for and have tons of fun at the Clarkston Family Farm. Both races will start at the same time, and you are welcome to run/walk either race. When the 1k race ends, you can continue on if you choose to do the 5k. Both races are for Kids and adults.

Awards and Prizes

• Prizes: Top racers in each age category will receive prizes.
• Chip Timing: All races are chip timed.
• Registration Perks: Early registered racers will receive a shirt and medal on race day.
• School Participation: The school with the top % of participation (minimum 25 participants) will win a free family fun day for the school at the farm, valued over $2000.

Fundraising Opportunities

The school with the most money raised from donations (minimum $500) to the farm through the donation registration site will win an onsite hands-on learning adventure, including farm animals, planting activities, nature crafts, and more. This will take place during a 90-minute after-school program, with available dates from January through March.

Event Amenities

• Food & Drinks: There will be food, drinks, shirts, and medals for the runners.
• Hog Jog Race: After the race, there will be a Hog Jog race with the farm pigs. Pick your favorite pig to win!
• Vendors: Vendor booths will be set up to enjoy, and the farm market will be open.
• Animal Exhibits: Lots of animals to see and you can also take a walk through our gardens and hoop house.

Registration Information

Late registrations will receive shirts and medals approximately 3-5 weeks after the race. Please register before the deadline.
