Birmingham Public Schools 5th Grade Run

The Birmingham Public Schools Physical Education Department is holding our annual 5th Grade Fall Fun Run on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This event is supported by Chartwells and the Birmingham Education Foundation. Fifth grade Birmingham Public School students are invited to participate in a 1 mile run/walk in Beverly Park located at 18801 Beverly Rd, Beverly Hills, MI 48025. This activity promotes wellness and encourages running or walking as a fitness activity.

Registration Information

• Deadline: The registration deadline is Thursday, October 1st at 6:00 pm and there is no onsite registration. Please register in advance to secure your spot in this event.

Event Details

• Start/Finish: The event will start and finish at Beverly Park.
• Check-in: 8:00 - 8:30 AM.
• Arrival: Please arrive early to allow time to warm up with your school!
• Bib Numbers: Students will receive their bib number at check-in. Please wear bib number on the front of the body.

Race Schedule

• Separate Runs: There will be a separate boys and girls run.
• Start Time: The first 1-Mile run will start promptly at 9:00 AM.
• Post-Race: Snacks and water will be provided at the finish line.
• Weather Policy: This event will run in rain or shine so be prepared for the weather!

Participation Incentives

The school with the highest percentage of participants will get a trophy and bragging rights for the year.
