10th Annual Seize the Day - Windsor

Event Overview

Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario (ESWO) invites you to join us on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, for the 10th Anniversary of our Annual Seize the Day Fundraiser at Vollmer Culture and Recreation Centre.

Purpose of the Event

• Support: All funds raised will directly support vital programs and services for individuals living with epilepsy, their families, and communities across Southwestern Ontario.

Event Details

• Start Time: This family-friendly event kicks off at 10:00 AM.
• Activities: Join us for a spirited run or an uplifting walk.
• Food Truck: This year we are joined by The WhamBurg Food Truck for your enjoyment after the walk/run.

Invitation to Participate

Whether you’re running or walking to honor a loved one, to stand with those affected by epilepsy, or to raise awareness, we invite you to be part of this inspiring day. Together, let’s build on last year’s success and celebrate the resilience of our purple community!

Dress Code

• Attire: Although we are not providing Seize the Day T-shirts this year, please wear purple or your old Seize the Day shirts so that we can show everyone touched by epilepsy that they are never alone.

Every step over the finish line is a step toward hope!
