🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Calling all runners, walkers, amblers, and wanderers to the woods and fields of Almont’s beautiful Camp Skyline. Skyline boasts 200 acres, including the highest point in Lapeer County. Welcome to the second annual Campfire 5K!

🕘 Race Schedule

• 5K Start Time: 9 a.m
• 1 Mile Start Time: 9:10 a.m.
• Packet Pickup/Registration: Starts at 8:15 a.m.

🗺️ The Routes

Both the 1 mile and 5k courses will include wooded trails, fields, and a private dirt road. No public roads are in use as part of the event.

• Furry Friends: No dogs will be allowed at this event.
• Strollers & Wheelchairs: Can be used at your own risk: routes include steep inclines/declines, and natural obstructions.

• Timing: Professional timing by Rotpac Racing
• Medal: A unique finisher's medal
• Refreshments: Post-race banana and water
• T-shirt: Race t-shirt only guaranteed if you register before 9/22
• Treat: Post-race s'more!

⏱️ Timing

This event will be chip-timed, with timing services provided by Rotpac Racing.

🍌 Post-Race

Post-race water and bananas will be provided, as well as an opportunity to make your own s'more!

Sunrise Susie’s Coffee Company will be set up to provide a great post-race beverage for purchase. Skyline's Camp kitchen will have an assortment of treats available for purchase as well.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in the 5k, and 1st place male and female in the 1 mile.
