Race Highlights

• Chip Timed Events: This year will feature chip timed events, all participants will receive a finisher time, finisher medal and race photos!
• Scenic Course: The low key 5K and 5 mile run takes you through Mott Community College, behind Lapeer Lightning Stadium, and scenic neighborhoods.
• Open Traffic: The course will be marked by cones with arrows, roads will remain open to traffic and participants are required to yield to traffic.
• Finisher Amenities: All participants will receive finisher medals, snacks, and beverages at the finish.

Community Focus

• Random Prize Drawings: There will be three random drawings for prizes from local establishments, winners will be drawn by bib numbers.
• Support Local: Proceeds from this race will be used to give back to the community.
• Fun for Everyone: We aim to create a fun event for everyone to participate in, celebrating Thanksgiving in a healthy way.
• Growing Tradition: This is our second year, and we hope to grow this race to become Lapeer County's premier Turkey Trot.
