Course Description

Thank you for considering Lapeer's only 5K and 5 Mile Turkey Trot. This low key 5K and 5 mile run through Lapeer will take you through Mott Community College, behind Lapeer Lightning Stadium, looping through some scenic neighborhoods before turning on M21 for all to see, ending with a straight shot down back to Mott College where the Gobblers will be waiting!

Course Safety

• Course Marking: The course will be marked by a few cones with arrows.
• Traffic: Roads will remain open to traffic and participants are required to yield to traffic.
• Maps: You can find maps to our route in Strava format below.
• Finish Line: Finisher medals for all participants, snacks and beverages at the finish.

Community Support

A portion of the proceeds from this race will be used to give back to the Lapeer Community Schools.

Event Goals

We are trying to create a fun event for everyone to participate in, have some fun and start their Thanksgiving day off on the right foot. This is our third year and we are hoping to grow this race where we will eventually be Lapeer County's premier Turkey Trot. We appreciate your support!!!
