About this race
The Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk has been a family-friendly part of our community festival for over 40 years. Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are welcome at this event.
The USATF certified course starts and ends at Pioneer Park on Desoto Street. Participants receive a T-shirt and a pancake breakfast at Spooner Park (350 Eli Road) following the race. Ribbons are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age bracket.
Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Early race packet pickup (t-shirt and bib) at Spooner Park, 350 Eli Rd, Friday, July 31, 11 am-2 pm. Early packet pickup helps you avoid the long lines on race day and will also increase the chances of getting your requested shirt size. Packet pickup is also available Saturday morning before race.
Our 2026 festival theme is "Where 50 Years Feels Like Home". Join us for this long-standing Canadian Days tradition!
PARKING:
Pioneer Park is located at 2950 Centerville Road. Parking closest to the start of the race is located on the east side of Pioneer Park from Desoto Street.
AWARDS:
Awards will be given to Overalls and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age category:
11 & under, 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Double Dipping is allowed.
T-SHIRTS: Shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first serve basis at packet pickup.
