Race Overview

THE END IS NEAR!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! Well, the Running Season end is near anyway, not so sure about the apocalypse just yet. Lets celebrate an awesome 2025 running season with your favorite season ending event.

Event Details

• Event Types: 15k, 5k, and a FREE Kids run!
• Participation: Each distance can be run, walked, skipped, or hopped.
• Awards: Age group awards as well as overall winners.
• Costumes: There will be an award for ‘Best Costume’: those in costume get FREE BEER!

Course Information

The run begins at Veteran's Park and provides a delightful tour of Milwaukee’s lakefront. Candy laden aid stations line the course to fuel your run and satisfy your sweet tooth, and MONSTER MILE Markers along the way.

• T-shirt: Each runner/volunteer receives an event t-shirt (Runners who register after Oct 18th ARE NOT guaranteed a shirt).
• Snacks: Traditional post-race snacks available.
• Music: Spooky music to enhance the atmosphere.
• Weather: A heated tent will be provided just in case of unfavorable weather.

Registration Information

Please review the Badgerland Striders Race Policies and Guidelines.

• Pre Race Registration:
• 15k: $45 (BLS members receive a $5 discount)
• 5k: $35 (BLS members receive a $5 discount)

Race Day Registration: Available at Veteran's Park (race shirt not guaranteed).

• 5k: $40

Packet Pick Up

• Wednesday Oct 28: 4PM-7PM at Central Waters Brewing Taproom, 1037 W. Juneau Ave, Milwaukee WI 53233
• Thursday Oct 29: 4PM-6:30PM at Performance Running Outfitters - Brookfield, 2205 N. Calhoun Rd, Brookfield WI 53005
• Friday Oct 30: 4PM-6:30PM at Performance Running Outfitters - Shorewood, 4533 N. Oakland Ave, Shorewood WI 53211

Race Day Schedule of Events

• 8:00AM-8:55AM: Registration and Packet Pick Up/Check-in
• 8:45AM: Kids Costume Run
• 9:02 AM: National Anthem sung by Sarah Fierek of the Center for Veterans Issues (CVI)
• 9:05AM: 15k start (at the Start/Finish Line)
• 9:15AM: 5k start (Starts on the Bike Path along the Breakwater)

Awards

Awards for 15k and 5k:

• Overall Awards: Male and female in each event.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group M/F: 14 and under: 15-19: 20-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75-79: 80 and over.
• Best Costume: Awards for Female/Male/Group.

Volunteers

Volunteers: We love volunteers! All volunteers receive a race shirt, lots of appreciation, and many thank you's!
