Event Details
This race is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. Run six races on our calendar and get a Run the 502 Finisher Medal with charms of all the races finished. Click here for more details and to register for the Run the 502.
- Race Type: Third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix.
- Distance: Four mile run and walk through scenic Cherokee Park.
- Route: Starts at Rugby Field, winds along Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park and back around the Scenic Loop.
- Finish: Features a screaming fast downhill finish!

Team Competition
The Polar Bear Grand Prix Team Challenge is open to any 3 to 5 person teams in three divisions: Male, Female, or Coed. The fastest three on each team are scored, and the Coed team must score one woman. Teams can participate in any individual or all three Polar Bear Grand Prix races. A Team Challenge Polar Bear Grand Prix Award is available for teams that win all three races in their division.
- Team Structure: 3 to 5 person teams.
- Scoring: Fastest three on each team are scored.
- Individual Awards: Team members are eligible for individual times and awards.
- Cost: No additional fee to participate.
