Rose Island Winter Warrior

🏁 Race Overview

• Event: The last race in the Winter Warrior Series!
• Description: This fun run is a perfect choice for a recovery run after Lovin the Hills or to gear up for warmer weather.
• Course: The course takes you across the old bridge into Rose Island where you will pass the different sites of the old amusement park, then back through the wooded trails to the finish.
• Medal: All finishers will receive a custom medal.

🏆 Earn Your Warrior Status

• Complete: Complete all of the Winter Warrior Series to earn your Warrior status.
• Events: Deam Lake Winter Warrior
• Events: Waverly Winter Warrior
• Events: Ol' Silty Winter Warrior
• Events: Rose Island Winter Warrior

🏅 Awards

• Awards: Each race will have awards for Overall Male / Female.
• Medal: Complete 3 of the 4 races to earn your Winter Warrior Medal and Shirt!

💧 Event Information

• Hydration: This event is CUPLESS. Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup.
• Restrooms: We will be using the on-site restrooms near the parking lot.
• Aid Station: An aid station near the finish area will have snacks and a water refill station.
• Course Description: The Start/Finish line will be near the parking lot of trail head #4. Total distance should be about 6 miles.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Time: Packet pick-up will be on-site at the Parking Lot near Trail #4, starting at 7:00 AM.
• Preparation: Please plan to pick-up your race packet with enough time to allow for pinning your bib before race start.

👕 T-Shirts

• Optional: Shirts for this series are an optional add-on to keep race costs reasonable.
• Availability: A limited number of shirts will be available for sale on race day, but pre-ordering during registration is encouraged.

🚗 Parking

• Planning: Arrive early for parking and consider carpooling as much as possible.
• Respect: We want to be respectful of the parks to ensure many more great events in the future.

🍎 Water & Snacks

• Hydration: This event is CUPLESS. Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup.
• Post-Race: Bottled Water and pre-packaged snacks will be available post-race.
