The $5 5K for August benefits The Mustard Seed! The Mustard Seed is a Christian community for adults with developmental disabilities. The Mustard Seed exists to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of adults with developmental disabilities by providing a loving, protected Christian community where meaningful activities empower each participant to reach the unique potential God has created within them.
About The Mustard Seed
- Founded: 1981
- Origin: What began as a dream shared by families needing a ministry serving adults with developmental disabilities.
- Community: Today, The Mustard Seed proudly serves over 40 remarkable individuals, affectionately known as “Seedsters.”
- Mission: Fostering an environment where individuals are valued, encouraged, and empowered to live meaningful, purpose-filled lives.

How to Participate
- Bring Friends: Grab $5 and your friends and come walk or run a no pressure 5K (3.1 miles)!
- Proceeds: ALL PROCEEDS will go straight to The Mustard Seed!
- Distance Option: If you don’t want to do the whole 5K, you can turn around and head back at any point.
- Support: You can even just come for support and don’t have to walk a step!
