Saturday, September 12, 2026 will start with a morning of reflection, community, and movement as we honor the lives lost and the incredible heroism displayed 25 years ago on September 11, 2001.

Our 2026 tribute is more than just a race: it’s a way for the Middletown community to come together to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit and say, "We will never forget." Whether you’re a serious runner looking to set a personal best or a family wanting to take a meaningful stroll, there is a place for you here.

Event Highlights

• A Solemn Start: We begin at 8:46 a.m. at Fire Headquarters with a ceremony featuring the Honor Guard and the traditional "Ringing of the Four Fives" to honor our fallen first responders.
• The Tribute Course: A scenic timed 5K run/walk.
• The Finish Line Tradition: Every participant has the opportunity to ring the memorial bell as they cross the finish line, a powerful moment of personal tribute.
• Commemorative Gear: Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a 2026 event t-shirt. Sign up with a T-shirt deadline is August 20th. (Walk-ups are welcome, but any extra shirts will be first-come, first-served!)

• 9:28 AM: 5K Starts timed by Brunning Endurance.
