Event Overview

Hello! My name is Azia Compton, and I am currently a 2nd year medical student here at ETSU's Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. Timothy Khalil and I wanted to pass along some information for the upcoming OSR 5K Run & Walk fundraiser the school's Organization of Student Representatives is hosting.

About the Charity

• Origin: Thirteen years ago, we began our charity when one of our fellow students recognized the urgent needs of the children on her pediatric rotation at Woodridge Hospital here in Johnson City.
• Needs: Many children were in need of basic items such as clothing, personal hygiene products, and school supplies.
• Collaboration: In collaboration between the concerned students and the Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) initiated a successful fundraiser.

Event Details

• Date: August 22nd
• Time: Starting at 8AM
• Location: ETSU Basler Center for Physical Activity on the main ETSU campus.
• Goal: Our goal is to raise as much support as we can for the Willow Unit at Woodridge Hospital.
