Germanfest 5K Run/Walk/Dash

Race Overview

Start your GermanFest celebration with a scenic run (or walk!) along the beautiful Mississippi River at the annual GermanFest 5K in historic Guttenberg, Iowa. The fun begins at 8:50 a.m. with the Kids' Inflatable Dash, where children race through a course lined with giant inflatables, earning high-fives and plenty of smiles along the way. The GermanFest 5K begins at 9:00 a.m., welcoming runners and walkers of all ages to one of Iowa's most picturesque race courses while celebrating community, fitness, and tradition.

Course Details

• Starting Point: Beginning in front of the Guttenberg Area Veterans Memorial at the intersection of Main Street and River Park Drive.
• Scenic Route: The course follows Guttenberg's scenic riverfront, offering breathtaking views of the Mississippi River and Lock & Dam No. 10.
