Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon

Race Overview

• Event: Join us for the 19th annual Haunted Half Marathon, Relay & 5K on October 24th!
• Location: The race will take place at 1 William L Jones Drive, Cookeville, TN.
• Course: Runners will enjoy seeing the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains on a loop course through Cookeville.
• Start Line: The race begins on the campus of Tennessee Tech University.

Course Details

• Path: The route starts near North Dixie Avenue and B Street and heads south in a clockwise loop.
• Terrain: Runners will navigate through city streets, retail shops, and residential neighborhoods.
• Completion Time: Participants must finish within 3 hours, maintaining a 13.8-minute per mile pace.
• Finish Line: The finish line remains open until 10:30 am.

Race Options

• Relay: The race features a three-person relay with legs of 4 miles, 4.7 miles, and 4.4 miles.
• 5K Run: A 5K option is available, starting and finishing at the same locations as the half marathon.
• Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 12 years old for the half marathon and 10 years old for the 5K.
• Liability Form: Guardians must sign the race liability form for minors participating.
