Event Overview

Our very first. On Dieppe's trails. Everyone's invited.

Trails-Giving is the inaugural event of MDR Trails, and it happens on one of the prettiest autumn routes in the region. Run it, jog it, or walk it. Timed runners, families with strollers, people out for a stroll: everyone starts from the same place, at their own pace.

Bring your family, your neighbours, your nature-loving friends and your running club. Wherever you're coming from, you belong on this trail.

Organized by MDR Trails (MDR Conservation and Trails Association Inc.), a not-for-profit incorporated in New Brunswick. Our work is connecting Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview through a continuous trail network. This is where it starts.

Registration Inclusions

• Chip timed: 5 km course (Atlantic Chip)
• Finisher's medal: for every participant
• Personalized race bib: included with registration
• Free shuttle: to the start line

Course Information

A point to point 5 km: start at the Dieppe Aquatic Centre, finish at Parc Rotary St-Anselme. Roughly 77% multi-use trail and 23% paved.

• Kilometre 1: A short trail start, then a paved section through the residential sector. This is where the pack spreads out.
• Kilometres 2 to 3.5: Back on multi-use trail. Natural surface, tree cover.
• Kilometres 3.5 to 5: Trail all the way down to the finish at Parc Rotary.
• Shoe requirements: Regular running shoes are fine. The trail is packed surface, nothing technical.

Parking and Shuttle Options

• Option 1: Park at the finish. We drive you to the start. You run back to your car.
• Location: Park at Parc Rotary St-Anselme, the finish line. A free shuttle takes you to the Dieppe Aquatic Centre.
• If full: Continue to the Aréna Arthur-J.-LeBlanc, a few minutes away.
• Option 2: Park at the start. The IGA Coop Dieppe and Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre lots are open to participants.

Finish Line Festivities

Parc Rotary will be buzzing. Le Barbu will be open. Stay, eat, take your time. Your car is steps away.

Event Schedule

Monday, October 12, 2026, Thanksgiving Day (Holiday). Race start for everyone at 9:00 a.m. Final participants expected around 11:00 a.m.

Additional Information

Good to know: No minimum pace. Strollers welcome. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
