DO THE HAVEN HUSTLE 5K

The Haven Hustle 5K is a fundraiser to benefit Haven Homes of Texarkana. Haven Homes is a faith-based, non-profit organization that serves both men and women in the Texarkana/Four States area who are struggling with life issues such as drug abuse, alcoholism, and addiction. Through safe housing, work and service programs, counseling, and spiritual guidance, we help individuals in need grow and thrive. The Haven Homes mission is to bring restoration to broken people through grace-based discipleship. We seek to reach those in pain from addiction and, through God's grace, help these individuals receive love, joy, hope, and healing. Haven Homes offers a Transitional Home for women coming out of Bowie County Women’s Center. We also offer 12 to 18 month Recovery Centers for both men and women, and sober-living homes for program graduates.

• SATURDAY MORNING: 5K RUN - 221 MAIN STREET, TEXARKANA, TX (PEROT THEATRE- DOWNTOWN TEXARKANA) 8AM-11AM $35 EARLY REG @RUNSIGNUP.COM, INCLUDES TSHIRT $45 LATE REG.
• BREAKFAST: A Light Continental Breakfast served at our grand central start and finish station of the Perot Theatre to all of our runners and participants.
• Awards: Following with awards for each category.

RACE COURSE INFO

The Do the Haven Hustle 5K is a 3.1-mile course in historic downtown Texarkana. The 5K Race will start and end at Texarkana's very own historic performing arts venue and a cultural landmark of the region, originally built in 1924 (physical address: 221 Main Street, Texarkana, TX 75501). Runners will run past all the major Texarkana landmarks: starting at the beautiful Perot Theatre, the classical Ace of Clubs House, see the stained glass at First United Methodist, the railyard, the only "two state" Stateline Federal Building & Post Office, the Hotel Grim, Silvermoon on Broad, City Hall of Texarkana, multiple war memorials, the Arts Park, along with the many fun and interesting murals of famous locals, like Scott Joplin, and other amazing local favorite murals! You don’t want to miss out on this 5K run! PLUS!! All proceeds go to help even more men and women find freedom in recovery!
