Run the Line Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Run the Line Half Marathon is a unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in Texas and Arkansas on a USATF certified single-loop course. The race starts at W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana, Texas, quickly moves into Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas. The course includes 10-ft wide asphalt trails that wind through residential neighborhoods on city streets. The finish line is downtown at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House about 5 blocks from the start.

🏅 Certification and Organization

• Event Membership: We are a Road Runner Club of America event member.
• Qualification Status: We have also applied to be a qualifying race again in the 2025 Natural State Running Series.
• Registration: The races and registration are available at www.naturalstateruns.com.

📏 Course Details

• State Line: A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas State Line.
• USATF Certification: The 2026 course is USATF certified (AR19015WJT).
• Timing: The race includes chip timing.
• Participation: Runners, walkers, and 2-person and 4-person relay teams are welcome.
