Live Life Nspired 5K Run / Family Walk

Event Overview

The LIVE LIFE NSPIRED 5K Run/Family Walk is a community event held in memory of Natalie Freiburger, a courageous young girl who lost her battle with ovarian cancer. It is for anyone that is excited about overcoming a serious illness or who would like to be surrounded by other inspirational people, it's a great chance to improve your health and your outlook at the same time.

Race Details

• Location: 321 E. Harris St, Charlotte, MI
• Date: September 12, 2026
• Start Time: 9:15 am
• Course: A flat and fast course that runs through the heart of downtown Charlotte in front of thousands of spectators waiting for the annual Frontier Days Parade.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, September 11, 2026
• Location 1: AL!VE (800 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte MI 48813) from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Location 2: Hospital Ambulance garage (321 E. Harris St. Charlotte, MI 48813) on race day from 8:00 am to 9:00 am

Pricing

• Cost: $30 until two weeks prior to the event (t-shirt guaranteed)
• Late Registration: $35 from 13 days prior to the event up until the day before (limited t-shirts available)
• Note: Be sure to preregister for the race!

Awards

Prizes are awarded to top overall finishers for Men's, Women's, and Masters as well as the top three in each age-division:

• Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over

Family Walk

The Family Walk is an event for the whole family. Bring the kids, Grandma, and Grandpa for a 1.5 mile stroll through downtown Charlotte with thousands of parade spectators there to cheer you on. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Post-Race Festivities

Music, snacks, and drinks will be located at the finish line, and awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race.
