Race Description

• Setting: Two branches of the Kalamazoo River coming together into one at the center of Albion, providing the perfect setting for Victory Park.
• Event: The Forks 5K coincides with Albion’s annual Festival of the Forks.
• Experience: Enjoy wonderful food and music all day on Saturday during the Festival of the Forks.

Your Registration Does More Than Secure Your Spot

• Community Impact: Registration fees are used as a donation to local nonprofit organizations.
• Previous Contributions: In 2023, Run Albion donated over $3,000 across five different nonprofits.
• Significance: One donation made by Run Albion doubled an organization's operating budget for the entire year!

Event Details

• 5K Run/Walk: The 5K is open to strollers and dogs. Kids Fun Run is free.
• Pricing: Students 18 and under receive a $10 discount off entry fee. Applied automatically during checkout.
• Check-In: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• Race Start: All runners and walkers will start at 6:30 PM.

Race Timing

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and posted online.

Forks 5K Awards

• Recognition: All participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Top Finishers: Awards for the top 5 men and top 5 women overall for in-person events.
• Points System: Points will be awarded to all participants for series awards.

Series Scoring Awards

Eligibility for series awards when participating in two out of the three events. For detailed scoring information, visit runalbion.com.

Virtual 5K Run/Walk

• Participation: Complete your race any time between September 18 and September 20.
• Customization: Choose your own course and time yourself.
• Cost: The price is $30 and includes a finisher's medal and event swag.
• Series Awards: No Virtual Series Awards. Eligibility for in-person series awards applies if participating in 2 in-person events and 1 virtual event.
