Join us for a 5K race at the beautiful Baw Beese lake, starting at Sandy Beach, 300 Waterworks Drive, Hillsdale, MI. Learn more about Sandy Beach

Race Details

• Timing: This event will be chip timed.
• Course: A well-marked paved course through the beautiful area of Baw Beese Lake trail.
• Scenery: Experience the stunning fall colors.
• Date: The race will take place on October 11, 2026.

Awards and Recognition

The overall winners (male/female) will receive trophies and medals to the top two male and females in age groups:

• Categories: 0-11: 12-13: 14-15: 16-18: 19-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75-79: 80-84: 85-89 (etc).
• Series: This event will be the final race of the 2024 Tri-County Race series.
• Locations: The series includes various races in Hillsdale, Lenawee, and Branch Counties.

Sponsorship and Purpose

• Sponsor: This event is sponsored by US 12 Heritage Trail Daughters of the American Revolution.
• Proceeds: Proceeds will go to Wreaths Across America.
• Honoring Veterans: Funds will be used to honor local Veterans with wreaths at their final resting places at Christmas.
