Big Miles for Little Smiles

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

We are excited for our 3rd annual Big Miles for Little Smiles 5k Run/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jackson County. Our mission at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jackson County is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Big Miles for Little Smiles will be held at Ella Sharp Park on Sunday, September 14th, 2025. The proceeds from this event will support the organization’s mission to create one-to-one relationships between the Bigs and Littles within the community.

💰 Pricing

• Standard Pricing: $25 until 8/31.
• Late Registration: $30 from 9/01 to 9/07.
• Final Registration: $35 from 9/08 to 9/13.
• Kids Fun Run: $10 with shirts guaranteed through 8/31.

👥 Team Pricing

• Discount: $5 discount per participant with a team of four or more.
• Refund Process: The discount will automatically be refunded when you have at least four people join your team.
• Eligibility: Your team must consist of four or more before registration closes to qualify.
• Joining Fun: Team members 1-3 will receive a $5 refund once member 4 joins.

📅 Packet Pick Up

• Early Packet Pick Up: Friday September 12th from 5pm to 6:30pm at YMCA 127 W. Wesley St.
• Race Day Packet Pick Up: Will begin at 8:00 AM at the race start area.
• T-shirt Guarantee: T-shirt is guaranteed with paid registration by end of day 8/31.
• Sizes Offered: Youth sizes S-XL, adult sizes S-XXXL, sizes not guaranteed after 8/31.

🏆 Awards

• Team Awards: Award for the Largest Team, the Most Spirited Team, and the Largest Fundraising Team.

• Schedule: Kids Fun Run starts at 9:00 AM, 5k Run/Walk starts at 9:30 AM.
• Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are needed before, during, and after the race.

⏱️ Timing & Results
