Race Overview:

• Exciting Race: The TURKEY TROT is an exciting race for all levels and age groups.
• Options: Choose from a 5K Run, 5K Walk or a 10K Run. We also offer a Kids Run.
• Timing: The TURKEY TROT race will be professionally chip timed with the results right after the race.
• Invite Friends: Be sure to invite your friends and guests to join you on this exciting THANKSGIVING Day Run!

Hosting Venue:

• Location: Ella Sharp Museum, 3328 S Oakwood Drive, Jackson, MI 49203
• Park Details: Ella Sharp Park, a historic gem nestled in the city, with over 500 acres of natural beauty.
• Running Environment: With tree-lined roads, it offers a perfect setting for our community to embrace healthy habits.
• Space for Athletes: This expansive park provides ample space for our athletes to thrive in an open and invigorating environment.

Race Fees:

• New Years Special: $20 from January 1 – January 15, 2026.
• Early Registration: $25 until March 31st (Guaranteed T-shirt).
• Limited Availability: $30 April 1 to May 11th (Limited shirts availability).
• Race Day Fee: $40 June 13th / Race Day (No Shirt Guarantee).

Military & First Responders:

• Discount Offered: Jackson Turkey Trot will continue to offer our MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS a $5.00 Discount.
• Online Registration: For Your Convenience, Online Registration has already been set up.
• ID Info: Just enter your Military / First Responder's ID info when prompted.

Shirts:

• Free Kids Fun Run: Kids Fun Run Event is FREE. Youth Shirts available at $10 each.
• Shirt Availability: Register Early to SECURE a Shirt!
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts guaranteed to registrations received by 2/28/2026.

Packet Pick-Up:

• Early Pick-Up: Tuesday, November 24, 2026, Times = TBD.
• Location: Ella’s Granary - Located inside the Ella Sharp Museum.
• Race Day: Thursday, November 26, 2026, 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM.

Awards & Results:

• Overall Awards: Will be presented to the top male and female finishers in the 5k Run, 5k Walk, and 10K Run.
• Age Group Awards: Presented to the top 3 places in each age group.
• Timing: Our race will be Professionally Timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

• No Dogs Permitted: There Are NO Dogs Permitted At This Event. Service dogs excluded.
