Race Details
- Course: The route is the same as last year. It is a little shorter with the re-route up the hill.
- Options: Join us for a spooky fun time on the Laurel Mill Ski trail in beautiful Ridgway PA and run a 6K or 12K trail race or take on the 2 mile spooky walk.
- Timing: This chip timed race is a great course for beginners and new to trail racing runners yet will challenge experienced trail runners that want to push the pace.
- Elevation: The course is a 6K loop with approximately 425 feet of elevation gained, with the 12K running 2 loops.
Race Features
- Terrain: This rolling forest trail offers a surface covered in grass, ferns, rocks, dirt, and mud. Nothing too technical.
- Inclusions: Registration will include a tech race shirt (must be registered by 10/10 to guarantee a shirt), finisher award for all finishers, a door prize drawing, and food after the race.
- Prizes: You must be present to win door prizes. Awards for 1st overall male and female for each distance.
- Kids: All registered kids 12 and under will receive a free treat bag. Costumes encouraged!
Additional Information
- Parking: Parking is limited so please carpool.
- Aid Stations: One aid station for the 12K.
- Shirts: Women's shirt sizes available.
Beneficiary
All proceeds will go to the Allegheny Hike, Bike and Ski association and be used to maintain the Laurel Mill ski area and to build trails.
