First Annual Fairy Stone 5K

Event Overview

The Friends of Fairy Stone State Park will hold their First Annual Fairy Stone 5K on October 3rd, 2026 at 9:00am (rain or shine.) At 967 Fairystone Lake Dr., Stuart, VA 24171.

Course Details

• Scenic Route: A beautiful course through Fairy Stone State Park with rolling hills on a paved road.
• Dress Code: Fairy costumes are highly encouraged!
• Family Friendly: Bring the family and enjoy the park after the race!
• Rucking Requirement: Minimum 25 pounds.

Awards

• Top Finishers: First, second, and third place awards for the top three male and female runners.
• Age Groups: Awards presented to top three male and female participants in ten-year age groups.
• Rucking Awards: Separate awards for first, second, and third male and female participants in the rucking category.

Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $25 through September 6, 2026.
• Late Registration: $30 after September 5, 2026.
• Students: FREE for all students (Pre K - College).
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Sign up by September 5 to guarantee your T-shirt!

Packet Pickup & Late Registration

• Date & Time: Packet pickup and late registrations will be on 10/02/26 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
• Location: Upper beach parking lot in the park.
• Continued Pickup: Late registration and packet pickup will continue on 10/03/26 from 7:00am to 8:30am.
