Welcome to the Interlude 360 Mile Ultra Bike Race
Welcome to the first annual Interlude 360 mile ultra bike race!
Race Overview
- Distance: 360 miles
- Terrain: 22+ miles of single track, 92 miles of pavement, 246+ miles of gravel and B roads
- Start Location: Red Wheel Bike shop - 400 West Main Street Jefferson City, Missouri 65101
- Start Time: 0900 - Friday - September 4th 2026 (Registration Sign in will begin at 08:00 am)
Rules
- Responsibility: This is not a closed course: you are responsible for yourself and your belongings.
- Course Conditions: Be prepared to carry your bike and potentially get your feet wet.
- Drafting: Drafting is allowed during the race.
- Liability: Red Wheel Bike shop and Interlude bike race are not liable for your actions.
Safety & Requirements
- Lights: Every participant must utilize a front and rear light at night.
- Course Reentry: If you go off course, you must reenter at the same place.
- Support: Participants are allowed food, water, and vehicles for sleep.
- Code of Conduct: Don't be a dick!
Allowed Equipment
- Aero Bars: Allowed for aerodynamics.
- Super Tuck: Permitted for race positioning.
- Super Aero Helmets: Allowed to reduce drag.
- Handlebars: Any width of handlebars is permitted.
Race Route
The route will start at Jefferson City and move north to Macon, Missouri and circle back. This is the unofficial route.

August 1st the race route will be posted on the internet and e-mailed to all participants.
Popular Questions
- Aid Stations: No, you will need to bring or purchase everything you need to survive.
- Required Bike: A gravel bike with a minimum of 45mm tires is recommended: road bikes are not advisable.
- Cut Off Time: No cut off, but if you take longer than 72 hours, you will be considered a finisher without an official welcome.
- SAG Support: Yes, SAG support is available for those needing assistance to the finish line.
Sleeping Arrangements
Sleeping is always an option. Motels, AIRBB, VRBO, and campsites are preferred. Be mindful of local laws regarding trespassing and surroundings.
You are welcome to sleep in a SAG driver’s vehicle if necessary.
Spot Tracker Requirement
No, the Spot Tracker is required not only for family and friends to follow you but also for your safety.
