14th Annual TrexXxFest 2026 Halloween Mountain Bike FUNdraiser

Race Description

Whether you are super competitive or have never timed yourself before, this event is for you. The stages are between 1 to 2.5 miles long and incorporate flowy descents as well as a little climbing. This will test your bike handling ability at high speeds as well as your overall fitness. The best part is that you will have time to recover between each stage.

Proceeds and Registration

• Support Local Trails: All proceeds from the registration fee go directly to support local trail systems. The race is organized by Valley Mountain Bikers, a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization that builds, maintains, and promotes trails in and around Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley.
• Pre-registration: Pre-reg closes Friday, Oct 02nd.
• Time: 10am-2pm, staggered stage start times.
• Timing Chip Pickup: Timing chip pickup goes from 8:00 - 9:30 am on Sunday.
• Stages: TrexXxFest features six event stages. The stage map is available on the TreXxXFest Facebook page: TrexXxFest Facebook.

BONUS Event

• ExXxTreme Hill Climb: This event is OPTIONAL with registration.

FUNduro Information

• Timing Chips: Timing chips may be picked up at the registration tent and must be returned to the registration tent after your final stage.
• Rider Responsibility: Riders are responsible for clocking in & out of race stages. Stewards are at race stage starts.
• Race Procedure: We will have 17 classes with staggered starts to help space out riders and keep them distanced. 10 - 11 girls/boys will ride 5 stages.
• Stage Results: Results will be available online and at the registration tent.

Awards

Awards ceremonies (1st, 2nd & 3rd) will be at the end of the main parking area.

Kids' Race

Kids Under 10 Boys & Girls (Pooh's Spooky Woods) starts at 10 am.

ExXxTreme Hill Climb Information

• Event Duration: ExXxTreme Hill Climb lasts until 2 pm for those participating in both events.
• Winners: Winners will be determined by making it to the TOP, with two categories: Primitive bikes and Pedal-assist bikes (MTe).
• Timing: Timing will determine winners if more than one person makes it to the TOP.
• Starting Procedure: Each rider starts at a standing start and cannot place a foot on the ground prior to the TOP.

FUNduro Staging Information

• Stages: 6 stages, with staggered starts for different classes.
• Categories: Categories include AARP, Open, Sport, Beginner, and Youth 12 and older.

Safety Warning

WARNING: Ride at your own RISK and within your abilities. Helmets are required!

Food & Beverage

• Seating: Tables and Chairs will be available, but we suggest bringing your own.
• Food Options: Food and beverages will be available from food trucks. These amenities will not be free as they have been in past years. Bring cash or a credit card.

Cancellations

Reminder that this event is a FUNdraiser, and refunds are not available from the event or hosting organization. Each dollar after hosting fees goes back to the very trail(s) you enjoy.
