About this race
Race Overview
A fun 5K run that kicks off the Tartan Parade - kilts and plaid are highly encouraged!
(Heck, if you have some bagpipes, bring those too!)
Community Benefit
- Purpose: Proceeds go towards Morning Star Rotary's programs for local students.
- Scholarships: We offer scholarships to college.
- Activities: Sponsor STEM and leadership camps for middle and high schoolers.
- Exchanges: Organize international exchanges between families.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, Sept 26th, 2026
- 10:00 am: Registration / Race Packet Pickup at Bethlehem Area Public Library
- 11:15 am: Participants move to Start Line (New St / Church St by the Bethlehem Area Public Library)
- 11:25 am: Race Start / First event of parade
- 12:30 pm: Awards Ceremony near finish line on Sand Island
Route
The 5K route begins at Bethlehem Area Public Library, goes north on N New St, turns left onto W Broad. Then we go south on Main St. down to the D&L Trail where we go west for a mile, then turn around and end at Sand Island in Bethlehem, PA.

- T-shirts: To at least the first 150 entrants
- Awards: Age-group and overall awards
- Refreshments: Available both before and after race
- Post-race: Fun in Bethlehem – Celtic Classic or Historic Bethlehem
- Facilities: Restrooms/porta-potties available near start/finish line for all participants
