Highlights of unPAved

Basic Category Descriptions

• Race for Whoopie Pies: 130 mile ride (12,000’ elevation & 78% unPAved) with timing over 4 segments totaling 56 miles. Top-3 Podium splits a $3,000 Cash Purse (and all finishers get whoopie pies)!
• Ride at Pierogi Pace: Ride the full course or a shorter route without the need for speed—at a lower price.
• Ride from Rusty Rail: These 2 routes are less epic yet still convey what makes unPAved special and start & finish in Mifflinburg.
• SlumberPArty: Start on Saturday, finish on Sunday, and enjoy a sleepover in R.B. Winter State Park in between.
• Big Lick 200: Designed for ultra-cyclists who can ride many miles, tackle lots of hills, and be self-sufficient through the night.

NOTE: All our routes build off each other, enabling you to add-on or cut-off sections depending on how you are feeling that day and everyone gets a finisher prize at the DONEpaved Party! For example, there are decision points on the Full-130 mile course at mile 21, 60, 72, and 88.

Registration Schedule

• September 22: Deadline to apply for the Big Lick 200.
• September 30: Registration closes for the SlumberPArty.
• October 8: Registration closes for the Full-130 Race for Whoopie Pies and “Choose Your Own Adventure Ride” Pierogi Pace categories.
• October 9: Pre-Registration closes for the Rides from Rusty Rail.
• October 10: In-Person registration for the Rides from Rusty Rail, Saturday’s FUNpaved Rides, and the unPAved Film Festival can be done at the Lewisburg Fall Festival (9am-4pm).

Registration Details

• No Refunds: We have a strict no refunds policy.
• Deferral Requests: For 2027 can be made by August 30, 2026 (45 days before unPAved-SRV).
• Transfers and Category Changes: Must be made by October 1, 2025 (10 days before unPAved-SRV).
• Cancellations: After October 2, 2026, and no-shows do not qualify for a credit.
• Insurance: We highly suggest you purchase insurance with your registration provided by BikeReg.

• Go to unpavedpennsylvania.com for rules, route information, updates, etc. before registering and at least 10 days before the event for any changes.

• Download the final course links when they are sent to you the week of the event.
