About this race
Event Overview
Please join the Ten Speed Spokes family to kick off the summer our favorite way with the 29th Edition of the Longest Day of the Year Ride (L'DOTY). This year’s ride will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2027 at 6:00 pm.
Route Options
- Distance Choices: Four route options including a 10-mile, 25-mile, 35-mile & 45-mile ride.
- Scenic Views: All routes showcase the best of Newport and Aquidneck Island.
- Navigation: Each route will have a downloadable map, which you can upload to most GPS devices.
- Signage: All routes will be marked with signage and course arrows.
Post-Ride Festivities
- Food and Drink: The best part is the post ride pizza and cold beverages.
- Socializing: Stick around after the ride to enjoy some food and the company of friends.
- Raffle: Join us for our new raffle during the festivities.
- Start Time: Ride rolls at 6pm, but plan to arrive between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm for registration.
Registration and Safety
- Exclusive T-Shirts: The first 200 riders to register will be guaranteed a highly coveted TSS LDR commemorative t-shirt.
- Helmet Requirement: Safety first, so helmets are required.
- Parking: Plan on parking in the Park & Ride lot by the Newport Bridge entrance to Newport.
