Event Details
- Where: Quonset Point, North Kingstown, RI
- Date: 4-11-2027
- Start Time: The 5K and Half Marathon will start at 8 AM. The 10K will start at 8:10 AM.
- Parking: Parking is at the Quonset O Club located at 200 LT. James Brown Street. Follow the parking signs.
Starting Line and Base Entry
- Starting Line Location: The starting line is about 200 yards after the Quonset Development (95 Cripe Street) office heading towards Conway Street.
- Getting on the Base: The event is on an old Naval Base: you will NOT need your ID to get on the base.
Awards
- Finishers Medal: Everyone will get a finisher's medal in all 3 races.
- Half Marathon: Overall Male/Female will get a trophy, and the top 3 in each age group will receive an award.
- 5K: Overall Male/Female will get a trophy. No age group awards: everyone will get a medal.
- 10K: Overall Male/Female will get a trophy. No age group awards: everyone will get a medal.
Packet Pickup
- Pickup Times: Saturday, April 10, 2027, at the Seekonk YMCA in Seekonk, MA from 8 AM-10 AM.
- Race Day Pickup: At 95 Cripe St, North Kingstown, RI from 6:30-7:45 AM.
Course and Facilities
- Restrooms: Porta Potties will be located at packet pickup and throughout the course.
- Course Description: All 3 courses are mostly flat and fast, with a couple of slight rolling hills.
- Water Stops: There are 7 water stations for the half marathon: 1 water stop at mile 1.5 for the 5K.
- Food: After the race, there will be pizza, bananas, cookies, chips, and pretzels available.
Important Notes
- Walkers: In the half marathon, walkers can start one hour earlier at 7 AM: meet at 6:50 AM at the packet pickup table.
- Time Limit: A 4-hour time limit is enforced for the race.
- No Refund Policy: There is no refund policy: a $15 transfer fee applies for switching events or transferring bibs to another runner.
