Course Details
About The Tug Hill
- Geography: Lies between Lake Ontario and the Adirondacks
- Size: Covering 2,100 square miles, it's one of the most rural areas in New York State
- Land Usage: Majority used for timber production, hunting, and recreation
- Population: Total population just over 100,000, primarily concentrated in villages
Race Rules
- Helmet Requirement: All riders must wear a helmet
- Traffic Rules: All courses are open to traffic, follow the rules of the road
- Littering: Do not litter on course
- Respect: Be kind to everyone: Course marshals, volunteers, other racers, spectators, and locals
Additional Information
- Bike Options: Any bike is allowed except e-bikes: gravel, mtb, or cross bike recommended
- Course Condition: Majority of gravel is pristine and very fast: a minimum tire width of 35mm is recommended
