Description

• Event Overview: Mad River Triathlon is a four adventure sports event set in picturesque Mad River Valley, VT.
• Running Leg: The running race starts at the Warren School and follows the Mad River Path and VT 100.
• Paddling Leg: Racers will paddle 6 miles of fast-moving water, interspersed with class I and occasional II rapids.
• Biking Leg: A 10-mile-long bike leg consists of gravel roads, single track, unimproved forest roads, and pavement.

Ski Event

• Final Challenge: The ski event will consist of skinning up Mount Ellen and skiing down to the finish line.
• Transition Points: Transitioning to canoes and kayaks, racers will paddle to the biking leg.
• Finish Line: The skiing event concludes at the finish line located at Mt. Ellen.
• Ski Performance: This exciting leg adds an adrenaline rush to the competition.

• Festivities: Join us for live music and festivities at Mt. Ellen at the conclusion of the triathlon!

Cancellation Policy

• 30 Days Prior: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
• 15-29 Days Prior: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 Days: No refund.
