Apple Harvest 10k

Course

• Type: Certified 10K out and back through Charlotte.
• Course Details: A mix of dirt and paved roads with pleasant scenery.
• Sights: Features apple orchards, views along Lake Champlain, and a covered bridge at the turnaround point.
• Route: Starts and finishes at Shelburne beach, proceeding along Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads.

Registration

• Pre-registration: Online, closes on Friday, Sept. 20th at noon or at 180 participants.
• No Race Day Registration: Pre-registered runners must pick up their bibs at Shelburne Town Beach.
• Pickup Times: Between 7:45 and 8:45 AM: bib pickup will close promptly at 8:45.

Restrictions

• Age Requirement: Open to all runners 12 and older.
• Under 12: Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race.
• Dogs: The Town of Shelburne prohibits dogs on the beach and in the park.

Entry Fee

• Pre-registration: $20.
• Race Day: $25 (GMAA Members subtract $5).

Prizes

• Awards: Prizes for top men’s, women’s and non-binary finishers in each age group.
• Additional Prizes: Includes the GMAA prize raffle!

Parking

• Location: Event parking is available on-site at Shelburne Town Beach lot.

After the Race

• Location: Shelburne Orchards, near the one-mile mark, open 9-5 race day.
• Activities: Apple picking, cider doughnuts, and cider available!
• Refreshments: Provided for all after the race at Shelburne Beach!

Important Notes

• Prohibitions: GMAA/Insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog.
• Headphones: GMAA strongly discourages the use of headphones for safety reasons and as a courtesy to fellow runners.
• Refund Policy: There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
