Apple Harvest 10k

Course

• Certification: Certified (VT13007JK) 10K out and back through Charlotte.
• Terrain: This fast course is a mix of dirt and paved roads with pleasant scenery.
• Highlights: Features include apple orchards, views along Lake Champlain, and the covered bridge at the turnaround point.
• Route: The start and finish is at Shelburne beach, proceeding along Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads.

Registration

• Pre-registration: Online only, closing on Friday, Sept. 20th at noon or at 180 participants.
• Race Day: There will be NO race day registration.
• Packet Pickup: Pre-registered runners can pick up their bibs at the Shelburne Town Beach between 7:45 and 8:45 AM.
• Close Time: Bib pickup will close promptly at 8:45.

Restrictions

• Eligibility: Open to all runners 12 and older.
• Accompaniment: Runners under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race.
• Dog Policy: Town of Shelburne prohibits dogs, whether leashed or unleashed, on the beach and in the park.

Entry Fee

• Price: $20 Pre-registration/$25 Race Day.
• Discount: GMAA Members subtract $5.

Prizes

• Categories: Prizes for top men’s, women’s, and non-binary finishers in each age group.
• Additional Rewards: GMAA prize raffle follows.

• Location: Event parking on site at Shelburne Town Beach lot.

After the Race

• Nearby Attraction: Shelburne Orchards, near the one-mile mark, will be open 9-5 race day with apple picking, cider doughnuts, and cider!
• Refreshments: Refreshments for all after the race at Shelburne Beach!

Note

• Rules: GMAA/Insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog.
• Discouragement: GMAA strongly discourages the use of headphones for safety reasons and as a courtesy to fellow runners.
• Policy: There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
