Game On! Key Largo Triathlon Summer

Race Overview

A destination race in paradise!! The City Bikes Key Largo Triathlon is set at world famous John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo (just a short drive from Miami) and will take place on August 16, 2026. This event will feature:

• Distances Available: Olympic and Sprint distance Triathlon and Duathlon, as well as an Olympic distance Aquabike race.
• Location: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
• Water: Flat calm, crystal clear water.
• Weekend Escape: Come for the weekend or make it an escape.

Swim Course

The picturesque swim takes place at the main beach at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (MM 102.5). The beautiful clear salt water features:

• Conditions: No current, warm, and relatively shallow water.
• Setting: Scenic beach environment.
• Swim Safety: Monitored for safety.
• Warm-up: Opportunity for practice before the race.

Biking Course

Your bike route will be out and back on Overseas Highway/Card Sound Road, featuring:

• Course Terrain: Flat, fast roads.
• Scenic Views: Enjoy beautiful Florida Keys scenery.
• Safety Measures: Support and monitoring throughout the course.
• Equipment: Ensure your bike is race-ready!

Running Course

The 3.5 or 6.2 run takes you through a lovely, laid back Florida Keys neighborhood where you will enjoy:

• Sights: Colorful conch houses.
• Atmosphere: Relaxed and refreshing.
• Finish Line: Return to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
• Medals: Corral reef finisher medal upon completion.
