Adult Triathlon - Sunday, Aug 8th

Green Lake Triathlon for ages 13 and up.

Events

• Individual Sprint or Olympic course: Choose between a sprint or Olympic distance.
• Relays: Teams may consist of 2 or 3 people, male or female.

Course

• Swim: Begins with a swim in sandy Green Lake.
• Bike: Ride through gently rolling hills around the Green Lake area.
• Run: Smooth run to the finish line with well-marked distances.
• Distances: Sprint Course: 1/4 mile swim, 14 mile bike, 3 mile run: Olympic Course: 3/4 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 6 mile run.

Packet Pick-Up

• Option # 1: Aug 8th, 5-7 pm North Door of Zorbaz.
• Option # 2: Aug 9th, 6:30 am - 7:45 am (tent in parking lot next to Zorbaz).

Transition Area

• Location: Parking lot next to Zorbaz.
• Check-in: Bring your bike starting at 6:30 am: setup must be complete by 7:45 am.

Race Information

• Start Time: 8:00 am: arrive 10 minutes early for announcements.
• Start Location: Beach area behind Zorbaz.

Water Stops

• Locations: At 1.5 and 3 mile marks, also turnaround spots.
• Trash Management: Trash cans will be spaced along the course: do not drop cups.

Finish

• Timing Chip: Return at finish: $30 charge for non-returned chips.
• Refreshments: Available for each participant post-race.
• Zorbaz Opening: Zorbaz will be open at 10:00 am.

Awards

• Results: Available online at www.pickleevents.com.
• Award Ceremony: Held behind Zorbaz following the race.

Special Instructions

• Relay Changes: Each relay packet contains a single bib number and timing chip.
• Life Jackets: If using, line up at the back of the pack: not eligible for awards.
• E-bikes: Not allowed: disqualified if used.
