• Distances:
  • 300m swim
  • 12 mile bike
  • 5K run

Race Waves

• Wave 1: Includes all participants who register by June 30.
• Wave 2: Includes all participants who register July 1 - 21.
• Wave 3: Includes all participants who register July 22 - race day.
• Note: If you register in Waves 2 or 3 your start time WILL BE LATER. Please plan accordingly. If you would like to be sorted within Wave 1 then you MUST REGISTER BY JUNE 30.

• Best of Triathlon: Are you ready for the BEST the sport of triathlon has to offer!? Our Smiley race will feature top triathletes in the area (and country)!
• Participate: We also welcome first-timers and all who come to participate. EVERYONE gets a Championship reception!
• Community Tradition: The Smiley Sprint Triathlon continues the tradition of triathlon in the Forsyth County/Winston-Salem Area.
• Non-Profit Event: This race is a non-profit event with proceeds rolling back into the race or to local charities with a priority to brain cancer initiatives.

First-Timers Welcome

• Concierge Team: No worries – we are the ONLY triathlon with a concierge team ready to help YOU all day long!
• Awards Ceremony: Recognition for first-time triathletes at the Awards Ceremony.
• Triathlon Clinic: A triathlon/transition clinic at packet pickup will be available.
• Training Program: Opportunity to participate in the Triathlon 101 Training program at Fleet Feet Sports (Program includes race registration + USA Triathlon license!).
