Major Reid Nannen Memorial 5K

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Please complete your registration prior to arriving on site. All registration will be done online (on this site). Save yourself time at pickup by having your registration done prior to arrival.

Race Overview

This 5K Run / Walk will honor U.S. Marine Major Reid B. Nannen, a Hopedale native, who gave his life in service while training at TOPGUN NAS in Fallon, Nevada on March 1, 2014.

1 Mile Memorial Walk

• Honoring Loved Ones: Join us in the opportunity to honor those we love during the 1 Mile Memorial Walk.
• Yard Sign Donation: For just a $25 donation, we will have a yard sign created that honors and/or remembers someone that you love.
• Sign Placement: These signs will be placed along the race/walk course.
• Deadline: Deadline for ordering yard signs is June 15.

Shirt Guarantee

• Registration Deadline: You must register by June 15th to be guaranteed your shirt size.
• Availability: After June 15th, first come first serve based on availability.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Packet pickup is on July 3, from 8am-7pm at the Hopedale Wellness Center.
• Day of Pickup: Day of pickup will be at the race registration table.
• Early Pickup: Early pickup is strongly encouraged.

5K Awards

• Overall Winners: Fastest Male Runner (Gun Time) will receive a monetary award.
• Overall Winners: Fastest Female Runner (Gun Time) will receive a monetary award.
• Age Group Awards: Top 2 Male and Female in each Age Group (Based on Net Chip Time. Your time starts when you cross the start line).

What You Can Expect

• Course: A running course that takes you through the heart of Hopedale.
• Live Results: Live-time results.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick-up at the HWC July 3 from 8AM-7PM.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards ceremony starting at 8:30am on the day of the race.
• Post-Race Party: Enjoy a post-race party with snacks and beverages.
