In our 10th year, Hopedale Medical Complex along with the Hopedale Wellness Center are excited to host the 2026 Major Reid Nanne Memorial 5K Run/Walk. 10 Years. 1 Mission.
Registration Information
- Online Registration: All registration will be done online (on this site) except for Day of Registrations which will be completed at the Race Registration Table.
- Registration Deadlines: Race registration closes at 7:00am for the 5K Run and at 7:30am for the 1 Mile Memorial Walk.
- Packet Pickup: Save yourself time at packet pickup by having your registration done prior to arrival.
- Shirt Guarantee: You must register by June 14th to be able to choose your shirt color. There is no shirt guarantee after June 15th, so make sure to register early!
About the Race
This 5K Run / Walk will honor U.S. Marine Major Reid B. Nannen, a Hopedale native, who gave his life in service while training at TOPGUN NAS in Fallon, Nevada on March 1, 2014.
Packet Pickup
- Date: Packet pickup is on July 3, from 8am-7pm at the Hopedale Wellness Center.
- Day of Pickup: Day of pickup will be at the race registration table.
- Early Pickup: Early pickup is strongly encouraged.
Awards
- 5K Overall Winners: Fastest Male Runner (Gun Time) will receive a monetary award.
- Fastest Female Runner: Fastest Female Runner (Gun Time) will receive a monetary award.
- Age Group Awards: Top 2 Male and Female in each Age Group (Based on Net Chip Time. Your time starts when you cross the start line.)

What You Can Expect
- Running Course: A running course that takes you through the heart of Hopedale.
- Live Results: Live-time results.
- Packet Pickup: Packet pick-up at the HWC July 3 from 8AM-7PM.
- Awards Ceremony: Awards ceremony starting at 8:30am on the day of the race.
- Post-Race Party: Enjoy a post-race party with snacks and beverages.
