Fleet Feet Mini Milers

🏃‍♂️ Program Overview

• Program Type: Mini Milers is a non-competitive 8 week running program designed for kids going into 1st through 5th grade.
• Focus: The program emphasizes safe running techniques, social interaction, and endurance building.
• Goal: Empower kids to achieve their goals and cultivate a lifelong love of running.
• Practice Structure: Activities include running-related games with opportunities for walking and water breaks.

👪 Parent Involvement

• Attendance: Parents are welcome but not required to attend each workout.
• Volunteering: Parents or guardians are asked to chaperone at least two sessions during the program.

🗓️ Schedule

• When: Program runs at 8:00 am on Wednesday mornings and 5:30 pm on Thursday evenings.
• Start Date: First practice is Wednesday, June 11.
• Culminating Event: Participants can join the Kids One Mile Run at the Dawson Lake Dash on Sunday, August 3.

📍 Location

• Where: All workouts will take place at Eagle View Park, 4001 Baywood Road, Bloomington.

💰 Program Cost

• Fees: $50 for the first child, $95 for two children, $140 for three children (discounted fees for siblings).
• Capacity: There is a limit of 40 participants for this program.
• Additional Fees: Registration for the Kids Run in August is $10 and must be done separately.
