🏃‍♂️ About the Dam Site Run...

• Established: The Dam Site Run was created in 2020.
• Opportunity: It started as simply a rare opportunity to race in a year when nearly every other race was cancelled.
• Scenery: The date meant perfect fall colors as the leaves started to fall in Central Illinois, creating the perfect backdrop for a fall race.

🎉 The Tradition Continues in 2025....

• Feedback: The feedback was overwhelming after the 2024 race. And we listened.
• Return: A year after road construction forced us to switch venues, we return to Dawson Lake within beautiful Moraine View State Park.
• Features: You can expect another high quality race with many of the same features you’ve come to know and love: Certified course, Post race food, Chip timed with split times, Awards, Finisher medal, Awesome swag after you finish.
• Experience: Enjoy beautiful fall colors. Our goal is to give you your money's worth.

♻️ No Single Use Plastics...

• Challenge: We are challenging ourselves to put on an event with no single use plastics.
• Commitment: No plastic water bottles, not even bottles of sports drinks will be used.
• Impact: If we can put on an event and leave a more positive impact on our environment, we should, right?
