🌳 About the Dam Site Run

• Established: The Dam Site Run was created in 2020.
• Unique Opportunity: It started as simply a rare opportunity to race that year when nearly every other race was cancelled.
• Scenic Views: The date meant perfect fall colors as the leaves started to fall in Central Illinois.
• Perfect Backdrop: It creates the perfect backdrop for a fall race.

🏆 The Tradition Continues in 2025

• Positive Feedback: The feedback was overwhelming after the 2024 race.
• Venue Change: A year after road construction forced us to switch venues, we return to Dawson Lake.
• Quality Race: You can expect another high-quality race with many features you’ve come to know and love.
• Extras: Certified course, post race food, chip timed with split times, awards, finisher medal, and awesome swag after you finish.

• Environmental Challenge: We are challenging ourselves to put on an event with no single use plastics.
• Sustainable Race: No plastic water bottles, not even bottles of sports drinks.
• Positive Impact: If we can put on an event and leave a more positive impact on our environment, we should, right?
