• Years Run: This will be the fifth year of conducting the race at Timber Pointe Nature Center.

Race Details

• Start Time: Race starts at 11:00 AM.
• Proceeds: Partial proceeds of this event will benefit Timber Pointe Nature Center.
• Post-Race: Post race food and beverage will be hosted inside Stern lodge which is near the start/finish line.
• Pre-Registration: Sweatshirts for those who pre-register before the cutoff dates.

Course Information

• 8K Course: 50/50 mix of paved trail, double track wide, and short single track sections.
• 4K Course: One lap of the 8K course, suitable for first time trail runners or youth cross country runners.
• Duration: 3 Hours +: 8K. Course will be open at 8:00, run as many laps prior to the 11 AM start.
• Winners: Male, Female overall winners will be declared by the most laps and fastest 8K time.

Membership Benefits

• Lake Run Club: Our Deer Run 8k is the season finale of the Lake Run Club Races and is our membership appreciation race.
• Membership: Those who register will receive a Lake Run Club membership or have their membership renewed through the following year.
• Sweatshirts: 8K and 3 HOUR registrations will include a Deer Run Sweatshirt. Sweatshirt cutoff date is 11/24/2025.
• Limited Availability: We will have a very limited number of extra Sweatshirts printed.

Race Environment

• Course Type: This is a cross country style event, most of the course is one wide double track, with some gravel road sections.
• Wildlife: Wildlife such as deer, wild turkey, and also possible bald eagles can be seen during the race.
• Weather: This is a trail run, and we plan to run this event regardless of weather conditions, including snow, rain, mud.

• Results: Results are posted the day of the event.
