🏃‍♂️ Malverne 5K Run for Education

The Malverne 5K run-walk for education is organized by the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation (MEFF). The net proceeds of the 5K run go to the MEFF, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth programs within the Malverne school district.

• Location: 75 Ocean Avenue, Malverne, NY
• Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:30 a.m. at Malverne High School (east of Ocean Ave)
• Registration: Day-of-run registration available

👶 Fun Run Details

The main event, the 5K run, is preceded by a fun run (200 meters) for children aged 10 and under. The fun run starts at 8:30 a.m.

• Location: Starts at the intersection of Wicks Ln and N Cambridge Street
• Route: Kids run on Wicks Ln toward the start line of the 5K run at H.T. Herber School
• Participants: Open to kids aged 10 and under
• Accompanied by: Kids can run with their parents

📍 5K Run Course

The Malverne 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m. at Wicks Lane next to the H.T. Herber Middle School gym (75 Ocean Ave). The 5K course winds through Malverne, Lynbrook, and Lakeview.

• Finish Line: Behind Malverne High School
• Parking: Available at two HS parking lots and adjacent streets, except for Wicks Lane
• Course Details: Course direction is not indicated on Wicks Lane

• 5K Run: Top 3 males/females overall
• Age Groups: Top 3 males/females in categories 11 & under, 12–14, 15–19, and then every 5 years up to age 84
