About this race
Welcome to the Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k race website!
The Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k race is a Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield running and walking event organized in memory of the late co-chief executive Edouard Michelin.
Please join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 8:00 am for a 5K road race on an out and back course along the rolling hills of Greenville County, SC.
Packet Pickup Information
- Location: Michelin North America Headquarters: 1 Parkway South, Greenville SC
- Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2026 Time: from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Date: Thursday, August 6, 2026 Time: from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Race Day: Starting at 7:00 am at the Michelin Sales Training Center.
Post-race drinks and snacks will be located here as well.
Awards
Awards will be given for the following categories (top 3 finishers in each, Male & Female): Overall, U13, Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), and Senior Grandmasters (60+). Corporate Shield awards will be presented immediately at the conclusion of the race awards.
The awards ceremony will start at approximately 8:45 am at the finish line.
Giveaways
Stick around after the race for a chance to win a set of Michelin tires. At the conclusion of the awards, one lucky winner will walk away with a certificate that entitles the bearer to one set of four (4) MICHELIN brand tires for rim diameters of 16-21 inches. NOTE: MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

- Dogs: No dogs are allowed.
- Registration: Children under 5 years old are not eligible for registration. Strollers are allowed, but the rider(s) should not be registered as a race participant.
- Fees: Event fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (gift transfers only).
