2026 Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k

Welcome to the Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k race website!

The Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k race is a Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield running and walking event organized in memory of the late co-chief executive Edouard Michelin.

Please join us at the Michelin Americas Research Center (515 Michelin Rd, Greenville, SC) on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 8:00 am for a 5K road race on an out and back course along the rolling hills of Greenville County, SC.

Registration Details

• Cost: $15.00 (+ RunSignup fees).
• Deadline: Registration ends August 8th at 7:55 am EDT.
• Age Requirement: The race is open to ages 5+.

Packet Pickup Information

• Location: Michelin North America Headquarters - 1 Parkway South, Greenville SC:
• Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Date: Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Race Day: Starting at 7:00 am under the awning in front of the Michelin Americas Research Center (MARC) cafeteria (Building 92).
• Post-Race: Drinks, snacks, and the awards ceremony will be located here as well.

Awards

Awards will be given for the following categories (top 3 finishers in each, Male & Female): Overall, U13, Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), and Senior Grandmasters (60+).

Corporate Shield awards will be presented immediately at the conclusion of the race awards.

The awards ceremony will start at approximately 8:45 am at the MARC cafeteria.

Giveaways

Stick around after the race for a chance to win a set of Michelin tires. At the conclusion of the awards, one lucky winner will walk away with a certificate that entitles the bearer to one set of four (4) MICHELIN brand 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, or 21-inch rim diameter passenger or light truck tires. NOTE: MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

• Dogs: No dogs are allowed.
• Age Limit: Children under 5 years old are not eligible for registration.
• Strollers: Allowed, but the rider(s) should not be registered as a race participant.
• Fees: Event fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (gift transfers only).
