Event Overview
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Citizens Medical Center will host the 10th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer.
About Citizens Medical Center

Funding Impact
Since its inception in 2017, more than $150,000 has been raised to benefit local cancer patients through the Citizens Run Against Cancer. By registering for and/or sponsoring this event, you are truly making a difference in the lives of local cancer patients.
Audience & Experience
- Route: Showcasing the heart of Victoria, starting in Downtown Victoria, through Riverside Park, and ending at DeLeon Plaza.
- Activities: Visitors are encouraged to explore camping, fishing, kayaking, shopping, and historical sightseeing.
- Participants: More than 1,500 participants, volunteers, and spectators.
- Inspiration: Be part of this inspiring event while supporting a worthy cause.

The Citizens Medical Center Run Against Cancer is a yearly fundraiser that commits financially to all the expenses related to a race well in advance of the actual race date. Packet Pickup
Thursday, 10/08/2026 &: Friday, 10/09/2026 from 4pm-7pm at the Citizens HealthPlex, 9406 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904.
Race Day Information
- Start Times: Half marathon and Relay begin at 7:30am: 5K begins at 8:00am.
- Team Contest: Parade at 7:45am to show off your creative costumes and team names.
- Awards: For most spirited, creative name &: best costume.
- Maximum Time: Allowed for the Half Marathon and Relay is four hours.
Parking Information
Parking will be available in One O’Connor Plaza parking garage before 6:30am. Additionally, parking is available on numerous side streets surrounding the course.
