Matt's 5k Pursuit

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Sunday, April 12th, 2026
• Location: 4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH
• Purpose: Support Matt's Foundation and celebrate funding 131 K9’s totaling over $1.4 million!
• Participation: In person or virtual options available

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Pre-registration: All pre-registered by March 31st will be guaranteed an event t-shirt: late registrants will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.
• Pick Up: You can pick up your shirt/bib on Thursday, April 9th from 4-7 pm at Queen City Running or on race day before 8:30 a.m.
• Late Registration: After March 31st, online registration until 8:30 a.m. on race day is available with a $5 late fee, and no t-shirt guarantee.
• Check-in: Pre-registered participants check in at the 'Pre-Registration' booth: late registrants check in at 'Late Registration'.

🤝 Sponsorship Opportunities

• Sponsorship Deadline: Sponsorships will be accepted until March 31st.
• Community Support: Your contributions greatly assist the foundation's efforts.

🐾 Foundation Impact

• K9 Funding: The Matt Haverkamp Foundation has funded 131 K9’s for law enforcement agencies since 2005.
• Recent Assistance: In 2025, we assisted ten police departments by funding 16 K9's, equipment and training totaling over $210,000.
• Future Goals: In 2026, we’ve already received many requests and hope to continue to assist.
• Support Mission: Your participation in this year’s 5k will help us support law enforcement with their K9 Units.
